Fort Scratchley Historic Site is delighted to welcome you, your family and friend’s to our unique and spectacular venue.  Our experienced and professional staff will work closely with you to ensure that your wedding is everything you imagine it to be.

The Multipurpose Centre at Fort Scratchley is a newly built contemporary Function Centre with a seating capacity of 150 guests.  The Multipurpose Centre boasts a light filled space with spectacular views over the ocean and Newcastle city that are sure to impress.  Attached to the Multipurpose Centre is a timber deck that is perfect for your pre-dinner drinks as you and your guest’s relax and enjoy the view and fresh sea air.

Blue Star Catering is the exclusive caterer at Fort Scratchley Historic Society and understands the importance of food to your event.

You may also like to hold your wedding ceremony on the ground’s of Fort Scratchley where you and your guest’s will have exclusive access to the site for a two hour period.  We have two wedding ceremony locations to choose from that offer breathtaking views over Nobbys Beach and Newcastle Harbour.
